Your donation will provide essential support to a local Veteran facing poverty and its devastating effects – homelessness, dangerous living conditions, and increased risk of suicide. 

With your help, we are able to continue providing local Veterans with immediate individualized assistance for housing, food, and other basic needs.

Supporting Our Veterans

5^th Squad is not government funded and we rely on the generosity of individual supporters like you. 

5th Squad was founded in 2016 by four Mississippi Combat Veterans. In 2017 we received our 501c3 and in 2018 we assisted our first Veteran. Since 2018, we have assisted directly or indirectly over 2,000 Veterans in the amount of $300,000.00. In 2024 alone, we have assisted 70 Veterans in the amount of 20,000.00.

Looking Ahead

With the rapid increase in assistance requests, we need your help more than ever to ensure the continued support of our Veterans through 2023 and beyond. Please consider giving monthly as it is the most effective way to provide continued support to Veterans year-round.
